Description: OLD TOWN. Just up the street from Second City, Zanies features stand-up comedy. Since its opening in 1978, the club has hosted undiscovered and big-name comic geniuses. Jay Leno, Sinbad, Jerry Seinfeld, and Comedy Central's Mark Maron are but a few of the past performers. Reservations and advance tickets are required for Saturday and special event shows. Plus, there's a two-item minimum for food and drink. Photo ID required; persons under 21 not admitted.
