Description: DOWNTOWN. Petrillo Music Shell hosts the Grant Park Symphony and is the traditional venue for Chicago's free Summer Music Festivals. These popular performances bring out local residents in droves and feature blues, jazz, gospel, and country concerts. Besides the summer series, several shows are scheduled throughout the year. The latter feature everything from classical works to pop numbers.
